The proposed tester is dual station and can test armatures with up to 36 commutator bars. The manually loaded dual station test fixture is included as well as two quick changout nests with the number of bars, commutator diameter and shaft diameter specified by you. Installation and training in Reynosa is included. If multiple units are installed simultaneously, only one installation charge is necessary. This unit is being used by numerous manufacturers including Makita, Electrocraft, Merkle Korff, Oster Sunbeam, Remy, Delphi, Motor Products, General Electric and others. I believe that the number of warranty returns at Black and Decker will be reduced if the higher voltage surge test capability of this unit is used to better detect turn-to-turn and coil-to-coil insulation problems as evidenced by the testing we did last week.
